Coaches
Cameron
Cameron Crippen, a member of the summer Writing and Technical Workshop at Woodward School and an incoming senior at Manteca High, coaches students on the computer, and is the web publisher for the Woodward group's online book anthologies.
Carolina
Carolina Duarte is eighteen going to be an entering senior in the fall at Tracy High School. She has been part of the workshop as a student and a coach, and has worked at two of our sites; Woodward School and Ripon High School. Her jobs are mainly on taking attendance and taking photos for the website. She enjoys helping out with the sites and assisting the kids during the
lessons and assisting the teachers as well. She has devolved great organizing skills and being flexible with technology. Her goals as a student are going to Delta College after high school and seeing what she wants to major in.

Emmanuel
Emmanuel Elijah is seventeen and about to enter his senior year at Sierra High School. He has recently joined the Great Valley Writing project team as a coach for Woodward Elementary school, and he will also be a coach at Goodwin School. His main job is to work on Microsoft Excel and updates all the databases and make we are up to date on everything. He also assists the teachers with the kids to make sure they understand what is going on. He is a good addition to the team, and he hopes to be back next year.
Reigan
Reigan Alcaria, a seventeen-year old and coming senior at Sierra High this 2012-2013 school year, has recently joined the Great Valley Writing Project as a student coach for the Woodward site and will also be a student coach for the Goodwin site. Currently, his main job title is the“Assistant Anthology Editor,” where he assists Robyn, the “Anthology Editor,”in constructing and editing the class anthology page for the online website. While Robyn creates and edits the anthology page, Reigan acts as the second-eye, making sure all of the students writing are as finely tuned as possible before the final publication. He really
enjoys helping these young students in their writing and teaching them basic computer. Reigan hopes to become a student coach next year.

Robyn
Robyn is sixteen and a senior at East Union High School. She has been a student for the Writing and Technology Workshop for about three years at Goodwin and Ripon. This is her third year as a coach, having been one in previous years at Goodwin and Woodward. Her main job is to construct the Student Anthology to showcase the student’s work as well as assist the teachers during their lessons. Her love of writing helps her develop the skills of the students as well as her own. She plans to become a student at Delta after she graduates.
Trevor
Trevor has been in the workshop program for five years now. His first four he went as a student to both Ripon and Woodward, and the last two as a Coach and Jr. Coach. Most of his day is taken place in the technology room. Here his main job is to demonstrate the projects through the computer as the teachers do the same verbally. Trevor is a very hard worker and a good assistant. He plans to return to the Great Valley Writing Project next year for a 6th year in a row.
